PTLLS or Train the Trainer in Northern Ireland: What is Best?

Recently at Quell we have been asked on various enquires about PTTLS or Train the Trainer in Northern Ireland and which is the best option for them and why is there so many to choose from?

The PTLLS is better known as the Preparing to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector and some people use the acronym to demonstrate they have the qualification.

To answer in layman’s terms, you can get a vast amount of train the trainer certificates from doing a 1, 2 and 3 day course and then go into the adult teaching world and deliver training; where some people fail is to read the small print where it outlines the constraints of the qualification, however if you do a course that is PTLLS recognised it will be a little more intense but the recognition in the adult training sector would be much more.

We advise when you wish to become an adult trainer you find out the facts of the qualification, then check it against the Qualification and Credits Framework (QCF) and then finally see if it will let you progress into other fields or training.

Before you spend money on a training course with a fancy title and an enthusiastic trainer, check first it is it worth it in the long run or are you unknowingly going to have to attend another course.

Quell can help you decide if you need a PTLLS or Train the Trainer in Northern Ireland so contact us on the details below.
